About the position
VIC the PICC (\"VTP\") is a specialized healthcare provider focused on vascular access consulting services to acute care hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and home healthcare. We provide vascular access device insertion services, post access support services including declotting, line removal, port access and venous access troubleshooting. VTP also provides continuing education, precepting and other educational support to clinical group members and customers. VTP provides on-site and mobile vascular access support services throughout the Western and Southern United States and prides itself on delivering innovative, affordable and easy to procure services with high levels of client and patient satisfaction. If you’re looking to step away from the fast pace of bedside nursing while continuing to make an impact, this position offers evening/night scheduling options including 2 PM–2 AM, 3 PM–3 AM, or 4 PM–4 AM shifts. Experienced PICC nurses welcome (Per Diem or Full-Time).\n\nAs a Vascular Access Nurse Consultant, you're expected to work collaboratively with our customer's clinical crew to resolve venous access issues to facilitate the treatment objectives of the treating physician. You may work inside or outside the hospital setting depending on each individual referral, providing you with a unique career opportunity to observe different treatment protocols and patient challenges. - Registered Nurse with current license
- Background placing ultrasound-guided IVs (USGIVs)
- Ability to work independently and fulfill scheduling requirements as indicated by position classification
- Assist with management of PICCs and Vascular Access devices.
