Key Responsibilities
- 5+ years of background applying or working within guidelines of RTCA DO-178 standard, Software Considerations in Airborne Systems and Equipment Certification
- E-Verify (Spanish)
- 5+ years of track record in software development life cycles, configuration management and best agile software engineering practices
- Background using common software version control tools such as Git
- Develop and implement engineering strategies that emphasize safety and reliability, aligning with Boeing's commitment to delivering the highest quality aircraft
- Level 5: Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 14+ years of related work hands-on history OR Bachelor's Degree and 18+ years of directly related work experience OR 22+ years of related, relevant experience
- Track record with Agile planning tools such as JIRA
- 6+ years' experience developing, documenting and maintaining architectures, experience needed, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems
- E-Verify (English)
- 5+ years of experience leading software development projects
- This position must meet export control compliance what we're looking for. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
- Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring that engineering solutions are delivered on time and meet all safety and certification milestones
