Key Responsibilities
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with customer engineering teams to identify, develop, and expand new opportunities within assigned accounts.
- Experience in FPGA, ASIC, and/or digital design
- Additional industry experience (examples include embedded SoC design, ASIC, ASSP, CPU, microcontrollers, microprocessor architecture, ARM based processor solutions, board level design, DSP, signal integrity, etc.)
- Driving FPGA Adoption: Identify, influence, and enable the adoption of Altera FPGA-based solutions at key customer accounts.
- 3+ years of experience in hardware engineering
- Post Bachelor’s degree preferred
- BSEE or related electrical/electronic degree
- Technical Assistance: Assist customers with architecture definition, solution evaluation, design and implementation of product requirements using FPGAs, IP, and development tools.
- Collaboration & Teamwork: Work effectively within a cross-functional team, including Field Sales Engineers, other FAEs, Factory Applications Engineers, Product Marketing, and Business Development.
- Experience with VHDL or Verilog or System Verilog or OpenCL or high-level synthesis tools (HLS)
- Feedback & Product Improvement: Provide timely feedback to manufacturing and product teams regarding product issues, future must-haves, and market trends.
- Experience in technical sales, applications, technical marketing, technical product marketing
