As a mid accounting and financial reporting specialist on the Statutory Reporting crew, you’ll execute medium to highly complex statutory financial reporting. You'll prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and firm close analysis.
You'll monitor accounting and financial reporting changes and maintain compliance with internal SOX controls and with state insurance department qualifications. In addition, you'll partner with a variety of departments and business units, providing expertise to internal and external customers and reviewing items of high importance and materiality.
This is a hybrid position, requiring work from our headquarters in Mayfield Village, OH.
Must-have Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
- Background with financial statement analysis, month end closing and account reconciliations.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or related field of study (e.g. Finance) and a minimum of 2 years of accounting work experience.
